Today is our THREE-MONTH-BIRTHDAY! Happy Birthday to US! But did we get a treat? Nooooooo... Daisy and I got more of those shot-things today. Something called a booster. Our human-mom and my human-dad did it this time. It hurt a little, but then we got some yummy treats anyway. Then my human-dad took me outside to play a little. Our human-mom is always making us stand still and get our pictures made. Today she came out to make some more pictures. Then she puts them in that box on her desk that she clicks on so much. I don't get that yet. But we took pictures today. Lots of pictures. Whatever..... can we play now?
Otherwise, I am learning so much now. The Magic Legs has a name. It is called a DOG SHOW VAN. It is used mostly for transporting us dogs places. And have we been to some really neat places! We went someplace called Franklin Mountain State Park. It was our first time outside in the big wide world. Daisy went with our human-mom. My human-dad took me. We walked about and sniffed and walked some more. I found a BIG STICK. It was really really big. I wanted to take it home, but I couldn't drag it very far before I got tired. So I dropped it and searched for a smaller one. I have also learned that what I was thinking of as different worlds is just a part of one big world, and my perspective of it. The more I see, the more I learn. It is also confusing to keep thinking of my human mom and dad, and my dog-mom. So from now on when I say dad or mom it means my humans. My dog-mom is still my dog-mom. I don't know much about my dog-dad, maybe I can meet him some day. He lives somewhere called OK-homie or something like that. I had a chance to talk to my dog-mom a while last week. She explained many things to me. That's how I know I had a dog-dad. I learned that the little world I was born in is a whelping box. That was inside the bunk house. The reason we moved was because the human James visited. He normally lives somewhere called Army Cavalry Iraq or something like that. And that soon my sister Daisy and I would begin something called DOG TRAINING. And that dog shows were fun.
I know that - Uncle Parker told me about the dog shows and hikes. My dog-mom said that I had a lot more to learn, but that I was doing really good so far.
Things are getting better between me and my dad too. Oh - he still has sad times. Sometimes he forgets and calls me Parker. But I don't mind. Maybe some day he will love me as much as he loves Parker. But we have lots of good times together. We play lots of games, and when I do it right I get treats. Sometimes my dad touches me and says I am a good pup. This is the best treat of all. Uncle Parker was right. If I study and train hard, and love my dad just as hard as I can, I would learn the rest. And I am learning. I am a very happy puppy.
