Today is a very special day.  Today is my 9-month birthday.  It's Daisy's 9-month birthday too.  When he came home, Dad took me to get weighed at PetsMart.  And guess what.  I was 121.3 pounds.  Huraaaaaay.... I am finally a GREAT DANE!  I'm a happy dog - a happy happy dog.... cause I am a GREAT Dane now - finally.  Funny, but I don't feel any different.  I don't know what I expected.... but I expected something to be different.  Oh-well.....  I am still a happy happy dog.  But then I noticed my dad getting sad.  He said that today would have been Uncle Parker's 9th birthday.  Uncle Parker, dad still misses you.  I miss you too.  But you know what else?  Today is Grandma Quiver's birthday too.  Happy Birthday Grandma Quiver.
9 years old and looking good.

When we got home mom made us a really great dinner.  Mom and dad had steak for dinner, and mom made our dinner with all the juices from the steak.  Daisy and I , and Grandma Quiver - we all got that special dinner.  It was so yummy.  Uncle Justin complained that he didn't get such a good dinner, but Grandma Quiver told him to shut up cause he gets special food on his birthday too.  Dad wished Grandma Quiver a happy birthday while she was getting her dinner.

Dad spent some time with me, the he got some of that radio stuff out in the garden and set it up.  He sat out and played radio in the garden until it was dark.  Mom sat outside with dad.  But this time he wasn't talking on his radio. He had some blue thing stuck on his leg, and the radio did a lot of beeping. Sometimes dad was touching that blue thing on his leg to make the radio beep, and sometimes the radio beeped on its own and dad would scribble something on his paper.  After about 2 hours dad brought all his stuff in the house and put it all away, then he was on his computer for a while.  I was napping on my bed in the radio room.  When dad was finished, he got me my bedtime treats, and we all went to bed.  It was a mighty fine doggie day.  I'm a GREAT DANE at last!
