Von Bonehenge White River Of Dreams
(Von Bonehenge Classic X-Sample X Ch Wildwynn's to the Nines )

I had a dream last night.  Some human-mom far far away was reaching out to me in her dream.   She is the human-mom to some other dogs way far away, and she knows how to communicate with animals.  She told me that Uncle Parker was very very sick, and that I needed to be very careful with him.  He could not play with me, but it was very important that I talk to Uncle Parker soon.  So when I woke up I started calling for Uncle Parker.  Our human-mom put us outside in the third world together.  We sat in the warm light and Uncle Parker talked to me.  I asked him about his great adventures.  He told me stories of far away places doing things called dog shows.  He liked Obedience and Rally shows the most.  He told me about even greater adventures called hikes.  But he said that the very best part was sharing it all with the human-dad.  The adventures alone were nothing.  It was the bond with the human-dad that made it all special.  I told Uncle Parker that I saw him and the human dad together, and it was awesome how they could communicate just by looking and touching.

Then Uncle Parker made me very sad.  He said he would have to go away soon.  He said where he was going he had to go alone, and that he would not come back.  He said that he loved the human-dad very much, and that he would miss him.  And then Uncle Parker said he had a special job for me.  He said that since he had to go away, the human-dad would need a new dog.  A special dog.    A good dog that would bond with the human-dad and go on many great adventures with him.  Uncle Parker said that "I" was that new special good dog for the human-dad.  I told Uncle Parker that I couldn't do it.  I don't know anything about it.  Uncle Parker smiled and told me not to worry.  All I had to do was love the human-dad.  I would learn the rest.  The human-dad would teach me.  But he warned me that the human-dad would be very sad for a while and I would have to work hard to make him see me at all, but that I shouldn't give up.  Uncle Parker said he picked me - because I was a white dog.  Uncle Parker is black.  He said when on hiking adventures with the human dad he always got so hot his human-dad had to spray him with water to keep him cool.  So sometimes Uncle Parker had to stay home while his human-dad hiked alone.  He said that as a white dog would I not have that problem.  I promised Uncle Parker that I would do my very best.

When the human-dad came home he went right to Uncle Parker.  I remembered what Uncle Parker said.  So I let them have a few minutes, then I jumped right in and started trying to make Uncle Parker's human-dad notice me.  Maybe I tried too hard, because the human-dad walked away without giving me a look.  Uncle Parker said that I shouldn't give up.  He said that sometimes communicating complex things to humans was difficult, but he would try to tell his human-dad that I was his new dog.  Then Uncle Parker struggled getting up to follow his human-dad inside.  His leg must hurt pretty bad.  I let him go alone.
